Hedy is the hallmark for the jewelry produced by the Hedison Manufacturing Company of Providence, RI. It was founded in 1909 by Harry D. Hedison, Sr. Known for their Christmas designs and enamel jewelry, the company manufactured jewelry marked “Hedy”, “H” in a heart followed by “edy”, and “H” in a heart followed by the copyright symbol. They also produced jewelry for other companies. When Harry Sr. died in 1954 his sons, Harry Jr. and H. David ran the business until 1985.
