1956 Sarah Coventry Northern Lights Brooch & Earrings Demi-Parure (Original Design)

The unsigned Northern Lights jewelry line was introduced by Sarah Coventry in 1956. This stunning brooch features a polished gold-tone setting with a very large faceted Aurora Borealis stone in the center. The stone is held in a dog tooth setting for a special look.  The brooch measures approximately1½” in diameter. It closes with a Locking C  clasp and is unsigned. These gorgeous earrings feature a polished gold-tone setting with a large faceted Aurora Borealis stone in the center. The stone is held in a dog tooth setting for a special look. The 1” earrings close with a hinged back clasp and are unsigned. These earrings and brooch are in excellent vintage condition. 

In 1973 and again in 1978 Sarah Coventry used the name Northern Lights for a different set of jewelry. The 1956 line is the original Northern Lights design.
