1972 Avon Contempora Convertible Pendant Necklace/ Brooch

The Contempora Convertible Pendant Necklace/brooch was introduced by Avon in 1972.  The pendant/brooch piece is a geometric, open work diamond of white enamel outlined and accented with gold-tone rope. One inch gold-tone chains form a tassel at the base of the diamond. The brooch measures approximately 2” W   x  3” H including the fringe.  It is signed AVON© and closes with a C clasp. The pendant can be worn on the 32” gold-tone chain. The Contempora necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
