Late 60s/ Early 70s Needlepoint Barrel Bag

Year: Late 60s/ Early 70s

Style: This floral, needlepoint fabric, barrel bag has a lift latch closure and bucket shaped metal feet. The opening has a rectangular metal frame. There are two handles that are carried around the entire bag. There is an interior has two larger areas with a pocket in the center that closes with a metal zipper.

Color: Tan, ivory, yellow, green, orange, blue, olive green, burnt red & gold

Exterior Materials: Needlepoint fabric, metal & faux leather

Interior Materials: Vinyl/ plastic & dark brown faille fabric

Size: Approximately 12” in length at the bottom, 8” in height not including the handle & 4" in width at the bottom. The handle is 8" in height 

Condition: Very good vintage condition*

*There is some considerable wear to the metal hardware. There also is some discoloration on the needlepoint fabric and a little bit of wear to the faux leather.
