Late 70s/ Early 80s Scarab Elephant Brooch

This unsigned brooch is an unusual gold-plated elephant. The elephant has an open work, polished gold-tone body that has four different sizes and colors of scarabs set into the design. The elephant measures approximately 1¼” H  x  1½” wide. The brooch closes with a locking C clasp and is in excellent vintage condition.
