1950s Napier Golden Coil Brooch & Earrings

This fabulous demi-parure is a Napier creation. The set consists of a brooch and matching clip on earrings. This amazing design begins with a gold-tone wire curled into a tiny circle. The wire winds around and around, with each open work circle larger than the one before. It is then curved and flattened to resemble a cornucopia. A polished gold-tone stem is added. It is a really unusual and beautiful piece. The brooch is signed NAPIER and closes with a locking C clasp. It measures approximately 2½” W  x  1¾” at the highest point. The earrings are identical. They measure approximately 1½” H  x  1” at the widest point. The earrings are signed NAPIER PAT. PEND. on the paddle back clips.  This set is in excellent vintage condition.
